Hi, I have just bought a used on road Fg and connected it with my flysky gt3b controller and reciever... I used this on my Carson so shouldn't be a problem there.. (Maybe some settings I haven't adjusted correctly???)

any way here is the servo specs..

2x throttle brake servo (front and back hydro brakes) graupner c 12021.. It says 4.8 volt on them but I'm using 6v 4100mah nimh battery pack. The steering servo I'm not sure cant see without taking it off.

Problems...

The two brake servos have very little back action to activate the brakes, but they pull ok for the throttle, on top of this they are very twitchy.. And seem to stick and jam and quickly shake back and forth as if having a fit.. The two servos are joined by a y lead and in ch 2 of the reciever...

Add to that the steering servo has stopped working now.. Maybe a low battery as I haven't charged it up... I'm charging now to see if that fixes it.

Was hoping to have it ready for a bash this weekend but looking like may have to buy new servos.

Any help or advice appreciated!!

Thanks

The servo's may not be digital so you would have to change the mode to ppm/ppl ( this causes the servo to have a fit) as for not pulling much on the brake side it could just be not enough power in the servo, best way to test that is to disconnect the brake linkage to see if you get full travel.

Thanks for the reply Ian.. I have disconnected the brake linkage and there is still no difference in travel.. I will check out the ppm/ppl settings though.. Thanks

After doing a bit or reading I have adjusted the duel rate settings on the gt3b so when the battery has some charge il see if that has helped the servo travel issue.., I'm a bit stumped with the ppm settings though.. Not sure I can change them on this radio... I know there are many people using them so hopefully someone out there can help!
