It should but its a pain to get nuts on the screws without pulling the whole servo mount out. That's why I used the adapter pieces

Any chance you'd be able to take a picture of your 805 mounted so I can get a visual idea of what I'm dealing with?

here's a pic with a hitec its not real close up but the futaba servo is closer up the hitec if i remember right they are the same size
