Just wondering if anyone has shortened the wires on their servos so there is not so much excess wire to stuff into the battery box??? I thought about cutting mine shorter and soldering them back together so I wouldn't have all the extra wire cluttering stuff up. Any thoughts??? Thanks

I've never cut my servo leads, and I'm pretty sure it would void any warranty provided. I just coiled them if they were too long. You just wrap the lead neatly around a pen or a screwdriver, tape the ends so they don't unravel, hit it with a blow dryer and let it cool completely, then slide it off of the pen/screwdriver. It shortens the lead and still allows you to use the servo in other vehicles that may require long leads.

as stated, once you have them tucked neatly in the box you wont even notice how long they are. i did however notch my reciever box after i put the hitecs in so that the wires were up above the front driveshaft. nice and neat
