Servo wont fit <sad>

Hey guys, I got my new HiTec servo from DDM great stuff and the mounting adapter. But I am not sure how this goes in.

In the adapter pics it looks like it is used because the servo is on wide enough?

But the issue I am having is the servo doesn't match the holes. Maybe I am just missing something. It was late at night when I got it unwrapped and was trying to fit it in. ;-)

Just cut off those little extensions and then thread both screws into the mount before tightening them down. It will fit, you just need to install it a little different than usual. The Bajas were originally made to use the same size servo as the Hitec 805 and 5805 sized servos.

I just bought the HPI battery box with mount out of and SS kit, hasnt shown up yet but the HS-805MG will fit directly into this right?

don't know if the fit is perfect or not with THAT servo, but if ya had the 5755 servo the metal PA mount is perfect fit, and mount is threaded and servo bolts are long enough for it, just add a drop of loctite to bolts.
