The answer is quite simply 'how deep are your pockets'? !!
Generally, the more you are prepared to pay, and the better the torque of the servo, the better.
Favourites are Hitec, Rhino (Multiplex), and Savox.

There are obviously larger servos for the steering and 'standard' sized ones for the throttle / brake.
This again is not always the case, as a 'show chassis' of FG Modellsport had twin steering servos and used Hitec 7955TG's - standard sized but digital and very strong.

Then there's the other area of analogue or digital servos, which relates to the radio signals .....

All of this is covered in previous threads. Just put 'servo' into the Search facility and I'm sure you'll find them.

If you're asking for opinions, I'd go for 2 of the 20kg+ futaba brushless servos for the throttle & rear brakes and the front brakes and 2 Rhinos for the steering.

If you've got an analogue radio I'd go for an oddified tonegowa for the steering and a couple of futaba s9351 or the 20kg savox.

For your info... You can run a mix of analogue and digi servos with a 40meg radio but if you're using HRS or 2.4 you'll need to stick with all digi servos.

Go for the best you can afford, the Tonegawa servo is pretty specialised but very good judging from the reports I have heard.

For the larger servo's most tend to run the Hitec 5755's, these are identical to the Rhino's but much better priced and have the same internals even down to the number printed on the circuit board!!! best price I have found for the 5755's is Kings Lyne Models. Depending on your throttle brake servo size run a high quality standard size like the Savox range or if still available something by ACE.

for steering cant go past the 5755 hitec, excellent value for money and the most reliable servo ive ever come accross, ive literally run 80+ tanks and its still going.

for throttle/brake if you can afford it go the hitec 7955tg however ive heard heaps of great reports from savox servo's so that would be worth looking into.

it depends on a lot of stuff. i run hitec servos in all my stuff, not the best out there but very good bang for the buck, and ive never had one fail on me. on my fg onroad i run a 5755 for steering. if you need more power than that and your car can be set up for it, run duals.

throttle and brake is a lot different, it really depends on how much torque and speed you really need. for onroad i light lightning quick response, and need enough power for my lauterbacher hydros, i run a pair of 7985s. the 7955 is a killer servo (333oz/in torque) but that amount of torque isnt needed for brakes, and the 7985 is faster. im very happy with all 3 hitec servos ive got on mine and wouldnt change them out.

i run fg tuning cable brakes and the more power the better which is why I went the 7955, its allot of money but you get what you pay for with hitec's in my opinion.
