settiing up gearing

10th scale,i have a pro4 redline 2400kv sensored tekin motor,what pinion an spur gear do I use for a traxxas slash 4x4.

I would start with stock gearing and adjust from there while keeping an eye on motor/ESC temps.

Stock is a 3500kv , so my guess is it will have a lot of torque, and not so much top speed.

I would go with a taller pinion, like a 17 or 19.

I think there is only three spur options, 50-52-54 ...smaller spur is faster
