Good morning folks!

I have recently bought the BMW Alms body shell. Is there anybody who Offers a painting service for this item I do not trust myself and don't want to spoil it.

I live in Glossop area.

Many thanks Simon

Morning Simon.
Welcome to LSF.

I'm glad you've thought about the value of the shell - some jump in with both feet, ..... and stuff up.
There's a BIG difference between a £20 1/10 shell and a £100+ 1/5 shell.

Mark of Outlaw Graphics in Liverpool did a superb job on my F360 shell.

There are a couple of others in UK on the Forum as well.

Others are in USA.
Read the other threads.

It is quite an easy job to do yourself as long as you take the time to mask up and do light coats and try not to cover every thing in one go.
You will be more chuffed with the result if it is your handywork.

I can imagine I would Ian, its just that I have had this car sat in my garage for a few years now with the most hideous coloured M3 GTR shell thinking to myself..... This car deserves better. :D

I've had perhaps 15 successes and 3 failures at 1/10 - 1/8 scale.
I wasn't too bothered about that.

Agreed, GREAT when it's your own work that comes off well, but ...
would you ever forgive yourself for that little run behind the rear wheelarch that only you can see .... and DO SEE every day .... ?

That's how I look at it.
Too expensive to consider stuffing up.
