Shelter In Place = Make Stuff

Working on some custom side plates for the Losi 5T2. The aluminum set just needs a little more finish sanding then buffing. I made then from 3/16" sheet scraps I had around. The carbon plates just need mounting holes drilled. These are made from 6 layers of carbon cloth and polyester resin sandwiched between wax paper, sheet metal and weights while it set flat.

Nice. I have a sheet of diamond plate laying around that id love to make a full body out of. Only problem is it would be really heavy. A rc maxx would be required to move it around.

Get the thin sheet aluminum diamond plate. They sell it at Home Depot. It would be perfect body material??
