I purchased one of those Sheng Qi hummer RC's for my son. Apparently either the carb or engine is gone. I would like to replace the whole thing if possible. Engine and Carb. The problem is,,,with what? Cant seem to find the one that is in it now. Can anyone guide me in the right direction please???

If you are replacing the engine go for 1 by Zenoah (preferably) or CY and get a Walbro carb to go with it if it doesn't come with 1 fitted. You will easily be able to get parts for any of these in future including big bore heads if you so desire.

I think Voo2doo has a Zen 23cc for sale. He would probably fit a clutch and carb if you agreed a price with him for the extra parts. don't be put off by it being a 23cc - they are good engines :cool:

Sorry mate just seen you are in the US and Voo is in Wales :rolleyes: Might be a bit expensive on the postage! See what is available on ebay!

WoW!!! Thank you for responding so fast!!!! So if I were to go onto Ebay,,,or any other site to search for an engine,,,what description would i put in the search box?

I am,,,,this seems to be the only place on this planet that actually knows what im talking about. Ive called several hobby shops,,dealers,,,ect ect,,,,and they just tell me to bring the veh. in so they can look at it. LOL. Im on the phone with one now,,,,I'll let you know what they have to say.

Davesmotors knows what he's on about. All engines are good but the Zenoah is the best. The car you have is quite large therefore you would be best to choose one of the bigger sized engines i.e. 27 or 29 (290). Always good to go with a decent tuned pipe to realise the extra potential these engines have.

Davemotors is 1 off the best rc sellers out there and has a very good customer service, we in the uk use him alot, the cy will be ok for you, as said earlier get a good exhaust and unleast the power.

if you can afford it go Zenoah, much more reliable and generally better quality all round, CY have lifted their game quite a bit of late so not a bad option either.
 
that truck is the same as a firehammer mt. suprasales on ebay has cy27's for a killer price. complete with clutch and a bunch of extra goodies for $139 I believe, I bought one a short while back. they are in cali.

if you need any spares, I have a bunch I don't need.

I did in fact purchase one of those engines that your talking about. It works great!!!! I do need some extra parts though. What extra parts do you have that would work good for the veh. we have?
