my MT body is almost the end of its life time to replace soon i know only few option i can choose from and i really like the old style H1 body anyone here try to fit a Smartech Hummer body on their MT? Where can i get one?

I use to own a Shengqi Hummer and the body isn't the best for bashing. I agree with you I like the look of the old H1 but if you were looking for a body to bash with I'd look at something else :)
 
a good way to bullet proof your body shell is to cover the inside with that grey elephant tape you get in hobby /art shop..sure it cost like 5 euro for 10metres and 12 euro for 70 metres..but you wont break your body as the body had addition strenght and flexing,it wont let you body crack or brake when it has a hard knock,saw this being done by two total nut cases i used to run with when i had small scale trucks and they ran the 1/5 cars and they abused them with serious road bashing.i have done the body shells of all my truck since and still have them 10yrs later...its best to do it when the shell is new,but it can be done with you smashed up shell to keep it in use till you save for a new one.the tape resists petrol and oil and that god auwful nitro gunge from exhaust.have it on my MT and my new 4x4 off rad beetle shel of which you can see on you tube.in the search box type in timberlandsteel and you can view it.pardon the typos i can type and look at scren and the wireless key board make me look illterate but not bothered to do spell check...

The best body for the FG is the beetle body. It will withstand lots of bashing. The one I had has been through at least 5 different owners!!. Mike at LSA has a clear one up for sale and I'm sure Advance has some in stock too.
