shock & diferential oils

Hi guys, what kind of oil for the shocks and differential do you use for baja 5b? The manual mentions 5w and 40w for shocks
and 1000 for differential, should I follow the manual?
Another question I have is about adjusting the springs (photo of how they looked before disassembling) there was around 18.8mm of space from the top to the regulator.
It will be for running on a mixed dirt and asphalt area.

35wt front and rear for the shocks as a starting point fella, then adjust from there,
rear diff start at 60k and again tune to how you like it ,
don't use the 1k diff fluid cos it will just disappear after a short time, leak out when hot etc,

In diff oil I find the acronyms CST and CPS but I can't find information about the differences... it's just that in some stores I find 50,000 cps and others 60,000 cst...

To convert 10,000 {cSt} (centistokes) cps (centipoise)
10,000 cSt ≈ 9,700 cP, assuming the specific gravity is 0.97.
