What wieght oil comes factory for shocks a diffs? I am trying to set up suspension for track and also was going to try and get rear different to engage more.

Not sure what weight the shock oil is stock it looks more like a salad dressing oil to me. the diff does not have oil in them stock there is some kind of grease used. If you want your rear to engage more a 10K in the rear works great for me and I use 3k in the front I like to rune 40wt shock oil all around this has been the best setup I have found on the track for my driving. Each person driving is different and how they race on the track so you may need a lil different setup but this should help greatly to start.

Tsudo5th and gasser, what I noticed is my mt would dive more in 4wd than 2wd. And then I noticed my mt would stay up longer in 4wd when the throttle was wide open thus keeping the front tires spinning then let off right before landing.

Hey Gasser are you using stock spring all around? You have problem with nose diving off jumps?
Yes its is with the stock tires what tires are you running? With the proline tires and strap close the bottom 2 springs its nose heavy but not as bad with the stock.

I am running trenchers. You think a little more stiff in front spring would be good to push front up more to compensate for the rear off jumps to get a more even landing? Stick with 40 all around too?

i would guess that the stock silicone in the inner diffs on the xb i bought had about 50.000 weight. Silicone does change with temp. I run 10.000 rear, 7.500 front. In hot weather low traction conditions -- 20.000 rear, 15.000 front. There is a design problem in the shocks on the 2 cars i have. not enough rebound damping. Its the shock pistons. I am looking at ways to make a durable, light weight check valve that sets on top of the pistons, this will take a while--
