Shock oil weight?

Does anyone know the rough shock oil weight?


I want something thicker, but am not a good judge as to whats in there stock.

No one knows for sure what the factory fluid is. Seems pretty light. 20-30 range. Most of the time they are not very full either which makes them seem pretty soft. I use 45 wt in the MT and 40 in my X-series platforms. It was noticeably stiffer.
