Shock oil

I'm guna buy a set of fg shocks and was wondering which was the best oil viscosity to use. I usually drive it at my park all off-road or at the beach on holiday. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's it for?
On road?
Off road? Marder/Baja? MT?
What condition are they in?

If you're going to change the oil, may as well change the O-rings as well if you don't know how long it was since they were last changed.
Pretty cheap and will limit any leaks to virtually zero.

Well i have a shengqi hummer, the original shocks are pretty sh**e (they don't seal well at all) so ive been on ebay and found a set of fg shocks that look in decent condition, i'll probably end up buying a seal set in case they're a bit worn.
