shock oil

I was wanting to know if I can use regular motor oil for shock oil, I am in Afganistan and have to wait for parts for a couple of weeks and I want to run my truck. One of the shocks lost oil today after the top came loose, and I need to refill it. Any help will be appreciated.

shock oil is silicone oil. you can use motorcycle fork oil. you must have a bike shop there somewhere
