If its the FGMT with the 8 shocks then I use 50 or 60. Try out a few different weights. Under 100 and over 30 will do just fine.

In another thread, we reckoned FG 1000 = 10 000 wt, FG 3000 = 30 000 wt, etc.

ill be using this on my 4WD MT which only has 4 shocks just wanna soften up the front and rear suspension. currently using fg 2000 front and 1000 rear and don't want the hassle of driving up getting the fluid fg dealer while i can grab different brand shock oil at a near by hobby shop. so what weight shock oil do you guys recommend?

Stick with 8 and run 50 rear 60 front or 50 all the way around. It will soften up. Make sure you don't run too big a spacer on the shock too. I think a bottle will do 4 shocks. So try out a few different ones.

I agree, I am running 60 front and 50 rear. FOr the bashing I do, it works just fine for me.

Oops did'nt realize it was the 4x4.

I would still think lower oil for a softer ride.
Here is mine with 8 at 50-60wt.

Now I know what spacers your talking about. The dampeners. Its all up to you. That is the way to adjust tension of the spring Try to swap them around and see how you like it. If you feel sag use the bigger clip. I think I have small in front and big in rear.
