Guys quick question should I run shock covers? I do not race it is just me palying around in my yard or on some dirt roads so spend the money or wait until I find someone to race?

I would like to know of the benefits of running them too. Are they just something else that needs to be cleaned after having a bash ?

Lemmy guess their for a Dunerunner haha :)They keep dirt off the shock shafts witch cause your seals to lasts longerkeeps mud and dirt off the coils and threads I have some they work good one way I seem them was made with a bike tube but I never tried it.

@ chevy , alot of my mates have mountain bike inner tubes on thier shocks on thier baja's,ftx punishers among other petrol rc's and thay are alot tighter fit and work really well too , but you can only get it in black , i don't know about any of you but i like everything to match colour wise lol , these shock covers are a definate plus it keeps them clean , stops the shock shafts getting scratched up and in turn stops the seals getting worn by all the scratched up shaft and dirt and an added bonus they look pretty good too

Gts666 do u remember what size tube you used? And might try and flip the innertube inside out so the smooth sides showing can you get a few pics?

I used 26" *1.75" tube and turned it inside out. Im trying to attach pic but doesn't seem to want to work. Ahhhh modern technology. Ill try to upload to my photos.
