Got my shock socks off ebay today £8 for 9.

Just a few pics for Voo2 to look at, seen him today and he was as always sending, he was going to buy new shocks just for the look (and then hell of it:nono:) so i suggested the cheaper option of socks.

What do you think.?:)
They come in all colours.

They're longer than the shocks and fold up inside, so when you put them together the top and bottom mounts hold them in place.

come on now, this is an rc forum. don't want to her about weekend extra curriculars ;)

I like the idea of shock socks. it keeps the crud off the shafts and seals. Going to bug the local bike kid for some inner tube and give that a go first

Sound investment! I have blue socks on my marder & they def keep the crap out. They have stood up the bashing but faded when I went on the beach at Rhyl

North west......near Burnley. Was havin a long weekend in sunny Rhyl at the Robin Hood hol park, my mate booked a Sun 10 quid hol & we tagged along! Tide went out at 10am & left us with a v.nice playground :rock-on:

they the same as mine! looks like the same material too...except mine are black & i made them myself (fuber knitter!!!) lol \o/

i bought some Neoprene material from local market, cost about £5 for a square meter, i made my self 8 for my MB Pro & some guy wanted some who i knew so i also made him 8 also! ...not bad for a fiver :)

its the same material used by divers, so its water resistant, strong & keeps all the crap out, whats great about em, is after a days bash, just let the much dry on them, get a soft brush & brush em down, then a laaa! ...they come up like new... had them off in total ...once in over 2 years! to clean them, not that they needed it as the method i just mentioned works great, also my shocks still look like new so they do the job great :D
