hey all i just got some upgrade parts which include a ddm pipe, when i oulled off the stock pipe it melted the rear shock tower brace. Now mocking up the ddm it sits real close to same brace. my question is do i need these or is there alum ones? One more question has anyone else put the ddm dom pipe on the xt, because i cant seem to get the cage on with the pipe either. thanks for any help

There are aluminum hopup braces and shock towers. The pipe and/or truck will need modification to make it fit. It is a Baja pipe so it takes a little extra work. I actually section and reweld mine. If you modify the pipe just don't alter the expansion chamber(fat portion).

its a side ddm, so far I got it mounted up and think I know how I am going to secure it, was just wondering about the brace, cant seem to find the alum version

I misunderstood. Thought you were talking about the rear Dom. However, the side Dom was designed for the MT. So again some slight modding or a custom made brace might be in order. The shock tower and rear top plate come in aluminum, but the small brace from the top plate to the shock tower is not currently available.
