shock tower extensions

Has any tried the tower extensions showing up on the left side of your screen, its an ebay advertisment? They say they are made of 6061 alloy, not sure I would be happy about the extra height, from a crash and bend perpective, I crash a lot..... :p

Here's a shot of them with the mounting holes for the XT body mounts. Ya can't tell in the pic but they are 1/4 inch thick. I'm sure somebody out there can bend them but there going to have to try real hard.

crap!!!

Forgot about the wing supports in the rear towers, no big holes for them. Back to the drawing board, again.....&%$%#$@!
 
Made that mistake when i produced my first carbon fiber set......oh well s**t happens. I blew the top corner out of my front cf tower the other day, didn't leave enough space out side the shock mount hole,"shattered", nothing that can't be rectified,I would like to try your towers before going down that path again though...
