Like everything there but the alloy shock ends. You snap shafts at the threads a lot with those. The stock plastic ends have just enough "give" during a bad hit to avoid breakage, they usually strip out or warp which is a good thing....much easier and cheaper repair to thread on a new end.

How do FID and GTB products stack up. Looks like they have a lot of very similar looking products. Are they just rebranded from some original source? If not is one known to be superior in quality to the other?

I talked with Bill (@ Integy) a little and from what I can tell, there is little they know about there own product. I offered to test them and post the finding as well as do a video of them and asked for a set to do so. He wants a 180.00 plus shipping for me to take a chance on shocks that I don't need. I would buy the FID Racing shocks before wasting my money on Intgey shocks. I bought a pair of the LST piggyback shocks from integy and they are the worst shock that I have ever used. They leaked out of the package. I bought new seals and they blew out and in the front end the piston cracked in half (probably from no oil) and bent the poor quality shaft. The piston froze up in another. This was just one run after buying new seal so that I could even use them.
Here is a picture of them mounted on my build before using them.

These LST piggy back shocks are almost the same size as the losi 5ive shock. And my "guess is" stay away. I do know that the shafts are not made to take the punishment that the heavy trucks dish out.

Funny reading these stories.
I still have a set of Integy MSR6's for my LST2.
NEVER stopped leaking!!
Couldn't believe it, one, or the other, or more ...
Never stopped changing O-rings, cartridges, seals .... you name it!!

One time, after 3 months' bad weather, did a quick charge up of batteries - glow igniter, pack for servos, changed the tubing, checked all was clean .... fired up easily, and set off at speed, for it to bounce off the road!!
??????????????

NO OIL IN EITHER REAR SHOCK!!
I changed to hard anodised Losi shocks and have never had a problem since.
Don't have the heart to sell the MSR6's on, as they're just so problematic!!

In contrast, the MSR8's I have on my E-Maxx are superb - never a problem!!
Depends who supplies Integy, and possibly which way the wind's blowing!

...and the Revo and Jato shocks from Integy were great to me, but the Tmaxx and Savage units were awful! Integy is a by-word for butter, cause that is how soft their alloy usually is.

Anyone wondering if the Integy Piggyback Losi 5ive shocks any good?

Well here is my review of them. The material are very good! Smooth and well finished. I was really surprised to see stainless shafts that are the same size as the stock Losi pieces and will interchange. The seals are also high quality and look great being made of silicone rubber and clear so seeing flaws if any is much easier. The springs are very stiff.

The only complaint is the shocks don't come with a boot to keep dirt off the shaft. As for the resavor I'm just getting to play with how it works. I did add 30 wt oil and tried them. To fill all 4 shocks took over 100 cc. They are very smooth and look to not have any leaks including the bleeder knob.

I give this product 4 out of 5 stars!

Above is the Losi titanium shafts with the stainless Integy shafts also the Losi boots.

They look nice, Integy, might not be a byword for garbage after all. Keep us updated. 2 to a pack for $89 is nice, but bendy shock caps won't be, fingers crossed for you.

I'm a little impressed too. For Integy these shocks do look pretty decent.
