Has anyone ever tried using different shocks (besides LST shocks) on thier MT?
I was wondering about the MCD, HPI, or the TITAN shocks...will any of those fit? I like the idea of adjustable preload instead of clips
The stock shocks arent smooth at all. I have tried many different shock oil weights and even adjusted the spring preload. I was thinking about trying to add another hole to the shock piston and see if that smooths things out a bit.

the standard red shocks are junk , i installed the FG Alloy shocks . they are very smooth with the adjustable preload feature .

Where did you get that sock filter on the engine pullstart? I find mine sucks up everything through there and spits it out over everything. :)

Titan shocks are huge. But not vary tunable. All you have is stoke pistons. All you can do is play with oil viscosity.

im gonna run the lst shoks cause i have like three sets of them so i dnt really no bout the rest

the lst2 wieghs bout 14lbs
n yes the shocks wont by their self thats y u use 8 w yellow springs i think i could b wrong on what springs

Alloy pistons with o-rings transform the standard shocks, which are complete and utter toss, I agree. They will be my next purchase (the pistons).

By the way, the problem with the stockers is mainly due to the large amounts of flash plastic on the horrid plastic pinions. Taking them out and smoothing them helps, but does not make them 'good'. LST shocks would be a step backward, imo.

ok so i was looking at a pic that i found w the lst shocks n the front would b able to run the lst shocks but the rear wouldnt

but the muggy shocks r the same xcept that they r a lil bit shorter so it would mount right \up in the shock mounts

a waiting more info

ok got it ok the muggy shocks r bout 10mm shorter thn lst2
