I was at the track the other day and too a hard tumble. I broke the rear, lower arm. So, I replace the arm and things don't fit right...so it turns out that I bent the lower part of the shock tower. The thick piece of aluminum and it gets bent! Darn it!!!

So anyway, being a cheap guy, I tried to hammer that sucker straight. Almost got it there, too - enough to get 'er running again.

Sheesh.

I hear you on that...I got the parts, bent the tower back in place and went to the track. I went around a few times, mis-timed a small jumped and took a tumble crash. Broke the front lower arm!! Ugh...this is the 3 time in a row that I had a minor mishap that ends the day...

Sometimes it seems to go like that. Sucks. I was getting perturbbed at those dogbone pins breaking everytime I drove the thing. These are cool rc's but need some tweaking to make them reliable. lucky most stuff is a cheap fix. Mine was a missed triple. back tires hit and busted shock shaft. The truck body is taking a beating. I am going to put the buggy body back on now and do some serious body work on the truck

I busted an arm and before installing the new ones I boiled them in water first. I am picking up the phat dad shock shafts tomorrow. I am told I have to mod them a bit. If it is extensive I'll do a pic write up. Supposedly they have c clips. I might have to take out the tap and die set and thread the top for a nut.

Nice, just traded a buddy a couple lipos and the stock rampage rx battery for a 28cc race ported 2mm stroker kit. Now we should see some broken parts LOL

Yup...it's those missed jumps that make for a ruined day. I have the 29cc something kit with the x-can - makes for a quick buggy in a 1/8th scale track even though it pretty big for one. My buggy body was on it's way to being destroyed within one tank of running until I got a hold of shoe goo and goo'ed that body wherever it cracked. Worked great.

Wish me luck...I want to be able to run this thing without breaking a part...
