Should have just replaced rear driveshaft when I did the front.

So yesterday I replaced the front driveshaft and was going to do the rear and then said screw it I’ll wait till that one throws a pin or breaks and earlier I had it in the street and low and behold it threw the pin at my feet lol. So now when I get back from Disneyland on monday I get to do the rear. Should have just done it yesterday.

Something seems wrong if you're chewing up driveshafts that quickly. Are you sure the set screw is hitting the flat part of the pin? Using loctite? Letting the loctite cure before use? You can use large heat shrink tubing to help hold the pin in place too. I'd definitely try something different before you have a bigger issue. I had a rear drive pin cut my chassis brace almost in half when it worked free. They can do real damage if they only slide out halfway.
