I have a brand new hpi receiver batter 6v 3000mah, this is specifically wise the same as the one in the KM from the factory. Should I switch it or just use it as a backup for long bashing days. I wasn't sure if there was a quality difference

From tests I've seen the KM holds a charge what they claim and it holds the charge well, if you have two batteries just always keep one ready

i immediately had a new batt comin at same time truck was, i got a DDM 4600mah, he wa sout of 5000 mah ones. yes, the larger the mah the longer run time the batt will have

Awesome guys thanks, that was my big question whether the charge they advertised was True

heres another tip for you that comes from electric small scale rc. use a low charge rate, seeing as this is an rx batt you don't need it to have alot of punch which a higher charge rate will give you so charge your rx batt no higher that 1.5 amps ;)

Ahh yes my friend I knew that one already. All my batteries I charge at 1.5

The KM battery will take a charge well. It will charge over it's rating. It will not however hold the charge after it ages. I recommend getting the DDM 5000 battery and be done with it. It will be all the battery you need for a days bashing.;)

i agree i have one on my hit list but it has been put off 3 months in a row now because of having to order parts to fix somethign and this time it looks like this time i have engine troubles :(. however when you chare at a higher amperage it decreases the life of your NI-MH battery packs but the tradeoff is more punch from your pack (which isnt really necessary for an rx pack) ;)
