Just ordered a FG and got the clear body. Show me some of your paint jobs please. Trying to get some paint ideas.

I can say DO NOT back color with black with Candy Apple Red.

Yup, Same here!! Black makes red turn orange or brown like BTB's.. I still like that molasses color though!





I need a new body, the paint is really starting to chip..

Thanks for the tips on candy paint. Should you back it with white or maybe silver.

Back any candy paints with silver or gold, white will turn it pastel! Yuck!! My problem happened because I didn't wait for the silver to dry before I tinted the windows. The window tint (pactra paint) softened the silver paint and bled through.

Mine was I was just ignorant.:laugh: Stick with what Trip says or you will make a basher body for sure.
