ok so i posted a video on here of my crash and messed my side dom pipe up i had got the pipe for free with the purchase of my TT roller so i had nothing to lose if i messed up with modding it, first what i did was measure the lenght of the one inch header section of the pipe it came to about 7 and a half inches i had to cut about 3 inches out of the pipe because of damage so i wanted to stay close to the original lenght of 71/2 inches for the header after cutting out the broken section of pipe i needed more lenght so i used my medium and large x-port with 3 copper exhaust gaskets, to make up for the losts lenght then I cut the remaining one inch section and re--welded it so it lined up purfect with the rest of the pipe i left it unwelded and added a silicone one inch heater hose and two clamps to keep the pressure off the header bolts if i crash (Iknow i will) haha also i only attached the pipe to the chassis with the front mounting bracket i left the rearmounting point not connected the pipe sits alittle higher and in a diffrent position than originally but i actually think it looks better, I took the rampage out front today to test it out and it seemed to performed better than when it was stock, so good I could almost get three wheels off the ground when i went into donuts, it does donuts faster than the Tasmanian devil!! haha i uploaded a few pics of the new pipe you might be able to see the little stinger tip is still alittle tweaked i need to get that straightened..

Ahhhhh, nothing's more fun than chopping up a pipe. It's funny what you can do with stock pipes that a manufacturer doesn't wanna jack with. Look at what I did with a HPI SS pipe a while back:

That header looks familar! Ive still got it in my spare parts bin, it might get a test fit on an XT. IF I can get SLHawkins to sell his Baja. Everyone PM him and tell him to sell it! hahahahah :D

dodgingbulls your right the pipe gets right in the way of the stock cage but i don't use the stock cage anymore, have a steel one that bolts from shocktower to shocktower! started it up out front and the exhaust was leaking pretty good on my gas tank where the exhaust flange bolts to the x-port their was a big leak got that sealed up and bolted the pipe directly to the chassis now that i have that silicone hose to take the pressure off the motor.

I was having a big exhaust leak using the copper exhaust gaskets so i took the header part off and my ddm dominator exhaust flange was tweaked pretty bad letting excesess oil out so i filed it smooth and bolted it back up and re-adjusted my pipe now its at it's final resting place hahah.... it looks like it extends below the chassis but it doesn't!! the copper exhaust gaskets are like 6 bucks each but i've pulled my exhaust apart about 7 times and their still like new well worth the money!!
