side guards for touring cars

hay matey i haven't looked at the carson for ages i bought one cheap and put it in the shed. what i do on my fg is remove the side body mounts of which i mount the side guards. i do this to put different bodyshells on bought them all second hand lol. you've probably tried it already but ya if there is different mount positions for them try that.
 
Mike, i measured,it's exactly 11 inches center to center, don't know eqivelent in mm's, thanks for your help:)
