Got my silencer yesterday and gave it a try. So far noise was reduced by ~35% and I have seen huge low end performance increase.

Questions, does silencer effect performance, and if so the how? Also what is up with that low end performance increase? Maybe just a time when piston ring got into place or silencer affected it?

Ohh so possibly silencer on my jetpro could have increased low end, but I saw no changes to top end. Maybe weird combination of pipe+silencer or dono

With a silencer your increasing your backpressure giving you more torque but you lose a little topend since the silencer restricts the airflow.

ok so more pressure provides more torque and thats why most of pipes have about same structure to provide more torque. Any ideas how maybe get that top end back?

So Rob, with that thinking, theoretically (I'm not trying it anytime soon) if I wanted more top end out of my CPI pipe, I could make the eight little holes inside the exhaust tip a tiny bit bigger allowing a little more air flow while sacrificing some torque?

[i think Rob knows, but for the rest, the exhaust tip on the CPI pipe exits toward the ground (circled in red) That 'cylinder' exit' tube actually goes straight to the top of the horizontal pipe and there are 4 tiny holes 2 on each side that I would estimate are 2mm (badly drawn too large in yellow...

EDIT there are only 2 holes on each side inside tube)]
