noticed a problem with my sq baja which has got worse after i took it for a quick run before, the motor has started to make a drone and has been slow on pickup when given full throttle, could this be the clutch slipping, the motor runs well starts good a will tickover ,

Yep, I reckon first place to check is clutch mate. Take clutch mount and bell off and have a look at the shoes. All that deeside dudt may be wearing them, (like it is mine !!).
Maybe even try starting the engine without the clutch on, see what it sounds like then ??

Silly question?
Have you cleaned the air filter?

For the pick-up - grannies and eggs I know, but pick up the back end and see how she revs - this will indicate if the clutch is grabbing - mine was and that's why I went to the Oddified one, which you've seen the result !!!

I put an 8000RPM spring(brand new) in my MT and burnt it out due to high gearing on half a tank. When I took it out the paint had come off and it had stretched.

Try holding down the model or placing it against a non moving object and placing pressure downward. See if something else is loose or if the clutch is spinning with no pull.

::found the problem, clutch shoes are down to the metal got a new clutch just fitted it and snapped one of the bolts that hold the shoes, noooooooooooooooooooooooo:censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored:

Did they wear out or break off? You could install the red spring and put them on backward to let them hook up better and have less slippage.
