I stoped in at my lhs to chat with the owner about his eye implants. So he told me he quit handling hpi cuz he don't make enough money on them. He gave me an example on a baja he only makes $100 not enough he says cuz he has to sit on it a long time. Now he knows I run the redcat,fg and nutech. The local hs are all ways asking me about redcats. the other thing he was saying is he heard parts availabilty is bad.My response was I could by two redcats for the price of one hpi,and I would have a complete parts inventory as one of the cats could be used as a donor for parts. I also told him getting parts was no problem useing rampage hop ups,rc pitstop 7075rc. Also told him the aftermarket parts are here and gaining momentum. The economic crunch has helped people to seriously look at redcat. My self whenever I take my xb to the lhs the customers and owners just marvel at it.They ask what does that cost.My response is $519 and $120 for the belt drive. The point I`m trying to make is redcat is well on it`s way so Darin,Rob and all our redcat dealers should be very pleased. So I think the writing is on the wall. Now all we have to do to to put the others in the back seat is to get the damn cats to wheelie, but that would cost big bucks.Anyway this is food for thought on a friday night.
