Took the MT out to a parking lot to continue breakin...I don't know what happened but had a brain fart and just watched the truck slam into the wall at 1/4 throttle. My brain did not think of braking at all.

Anyways I broke plastic chassis brace and bent the chasdis about 3/16" upwards and bent front dogbone.

I have an aluminum front brace in the mail. This I strongly recommend. Also I find the weakpoint is the chassis and not the bumper. That's not good.

Repaired and fixed again and bam...same wall, this time I just nicked a front tire. It was cool seingbthe tire fly in the air.

No biggie, just a upper arm and the hub were slapped.

I checked the other Rampage I got as a trade and sure enough there were aluminum hubs. I guess the other owner must have had the same issues as me. I hate aluminum parts but this and the brace are a must on this truck.

The worst part is bringing back a tire and remote in one hand and a 35lbs truck held from the rollcage in the other. At this point you realize what that poor 32cc is going through moving this tank around on demand.

Did you loctite the axle pins that are on the wheel hub side? I lost one on the front and rear tire half way through the break in.

They seems to be Red loktite on them already. I tried to unscrew but just stopped before I strip the allen grub.

Even the screws on the top plate screwed onto the steering posts have red loktite. I have to heat up the screwhead with my mini torch so I can unscrew them.

I installed a DDM Dominiator pipe an needed to reverse the tanch so the gas cap would cleat the pipe. I had to heat those screws and as carefull as I was, I ended up burning a hole in my tank. (n)o_O
I should have used soldering iron with solderinstead.15902478647158407095025956379479.webp
