Since my motor is tore apart patiently waiting for my ESP head to arrive I figured I would do some polishing...to the case, clutch housing and fly wheel cover...needless to say it was a nightmare and don't recommend this to any one including my worst enemy lol..I have about 20hrs into this but well worth the results. ENJOY...

And polished the transfer area inside the crank case. Was gonna do a Turbo crank mod but I don't have the right dremel bits right now.

Next will be the gear plate and new head once it gets here. Just the heat extracters on the outside. Sorry for the crappy cell pics. They don't do the finish any justice.

Sweet! Noth'n cooler than polished aluminum! The case looks great. I bet that took some time.

How do you guys get your aluminum so shinny please help a noob like me out. I am still trying to get my dune runners deanodized parts shinny

I started with 80 grit sand paper. Then up to 180,280,380,480 then stopped at 600 grit. Hit it with 0000 super fine steel wool to shine. No Polish needed..its a painfully drawn out process. Not so bad on flat surfaces but a pita when you have little nooks and crannies ..

If you want it to look like a mirror, get some white jewlers roughe and put it on a buffing wheel... after you've done all that sanding. You will be able to shave in the reflection.

Those parts look great... I like the Satin look more on these trucks because then you don't worry about scratches so much. :D

Thanks for the props guys.

ESP head kit, Carb, 1 inch Mani and exhaust all came today. Time to reassemble and get bashing again, I miss this thing..

Here she is all back together. After reassembley she fired up on the 3rd pull. Holy crap this pipe is loud, tingy and sounded pissed off. Completely different beast compared to stock. Can't wait to open her up..broken XB wing mounts came in handy for mounting the pipe.

Nevermind the mud on the patio lol. We are in the process of doing some concrete work ..
