Solar panel powered boost

Instead of the roof panel can I install a solar panel that runs down where the back window would be (under the cage)? I want it to give the batteries a little more 'boost'. Is this even possible with a small solar panel?

If your lucky you might be able to put 0.1 of an amp back into the batteries in the short time your running them, and that's only if the solar panel is the size of a bus

I don't think it would be practical and it would probably get smashed in a roll over. If your batteries keep running out you could upgrade it to a LiPo or just bring spares.
