I am building a play crawler based on a 1/6 newbright yukon denali body, swamp kong tires by imex, novak goat brushless combo and I need 2 steering axles for 4 wheel steering,I saw t-rex 90 axles but they are discontinued.does any know of any aluminum solid steering axles 10 to 12 inches wide? let me know thx.Actually now that the rims have arrived they have deep back spacing so 13 or 14 inches wide on the axle would be better.

Let me clear it up. At the time I responded I knew my crawler was 17 inches. With wheal offset I figured the axle to be 'bout 14" drive hex to drive hex. Just now measured and damn I'm good. Now if you want aluminum then get RC4WD.Com's Kyosho Mad Force Axle. Here is a pic of it. Now X-Factor and Mad Force should be the same length. In a few days I can let you know for sure cuz I have one coming for my build . Now if this is slightly too wide for you the kyosho axles can be shortened. Post pics...crawlers are suck fun................I have some pics for you but I don't know how to post them here. email me and I'll show ya [email protected]

Still lookin for that axle. The RC4WD Kyosho axle is more like 13 in hex to hex. I'm accually ordering 2 to use both long sides to create a 14 in hex to hex.

Ok..I just measured and from hex to hex it is only 12 inches. You must be talkin 14" track width, edge of tire to edge of tire. The stocks look like you can take 2 long sides and make it longer. Well with these aftermarkets you can't. I'm gunna hafta cut and weld to get it longer.

you sent me a pic of your truck with the wheels off and a yard stick showing 14" hex to hex? what was that axle?

That axle I showed you a couple weeks back was of my X-Factor. Thats when I ordered RC4WD's Mad Force because I thought it was suppose to be the same. Turns out its short. I'm gunna cut and weld them to length. The Mad Force takes a truggy diff. X-Factor is MT size which is tough but gets in the way alot. I have never seen XF in aluminum.
I don't know how you feel about runnen axcel spacers and wheel offset . This will fix the Mad F RC4WD.

You should see if RC4WD will spin some longer axle tubes for yah.
They may even have them available.
