That is a cool boat.Where is that pond located?I've been wanting to build a boat for the longest time and just haven't had the time to do so.A couple years back I actually formed my own plug by hand to cast a fiberglass mold.Once the mold was made ,I cast a new plug in fiberglass to which I refined the shape of the boat.Again I cast another mold which unfortunately came out less than perfect.I still have the new mold and the plug and plan on recasting another new mold.Once I form the final mold,I'd like to cast a bunch of vaccuume bagged hulls to sell.Vaccuume bagging gets the strength up and the weight down.The hulls will be 56" long Scarab type cast in both fiberglass and maybe some in carbon fiber.

those were taken in vaughan highway 27 & 7 only 30 minute drive for you .. next season come on out .. might have one or 2 weekends left before its froozen over ..
buy next season i'll have a rocket .. my goal is over 60 close 70's mph ..

We should get together sometime.I've never built a boat and could use some advice from someone who has.I can show you my hull that I hope to get back to work on in the spring.You need lots of ventilation and adequate temps to work with fiberglass so it has to wait till spring.
