Soo...I decided to go out in the garage and do some work on my FG Monster. I get so inspired when I read of all you guys nice modifiations on your cars :) This is what I did :)

pipe looks great , add any more power?

Thanks :) Oh...yes it adds power alright. I just love this pipe. It is a mid-top end pipe really, a little like the Jetpro but with better midrange i think.

hey waqr

love your fg man.
nice work.

some unique touches there, love the braided hosing and also the adjustable diff.
looks great man.

do you have an extention to the rear underneth of your chassis, like an alloy diff protector?
what pipe is that,looks awesome.....

cool shock covers aswell.
good work..
looking forward to seeing more updates.

Thanks dc2 man :) Yep.....that is a diff protector. It lets all stones off the chassie insted of staying and either destroying your diff tube or get in to the engines flywheel. Will post som pictures of the mounting of this tonight (have to go to work now :( )

The pipe is a Samba pipe. I really love it. A bit expensive though :(

My next upgrade will probably be engine rebuild. Pretty much what you did with an Onèill 27,2 kit.

nice one waqr.

that will be good to see,i presume you are going to do the rebuild yourself.

im on the llok out for a bottom end for you,if i find one i will ship it to you,u could sent me the £ for shipping.

i may be able to fine one (complete engine maybe)

leave it with me.

Thanks dc2 man. Really appreciate your effort to find me an engine :clown:. It would be greate if I could find an engine that is a bit old (since I`m going to use only some parts of it). The only trouble might be the freight cost from Italy. We have to look at this if you finds an engine.

Here is some picures from the mouting of the diff protection:

nice pipe.

well there is no such thing as a used, defect, old, engine, all parts can be changed at any time,a crank case is always good. its just the internal parts that go bad(rarely) all you ever need to change ever is piston ring, severe maybe crank bearings, piston itself in extreme cases.

so my opinion any engine is always a good engine and worth something.:)

You are a very wise man dc2 man :) What you`re saying is right, a good engine is worth someting, but how much is another question :clown:

im pretty sure i have one lying around i am trying to find it...

its either a cy or a zenoah.
if i find it i will give it to you free of charge.

free to good home hahaha

finding it now is another story, you can send me cheque for postage costs and price of a pint maybe lol

when i find it i will tell you how much shipping will cost and i will send it to you and i will take your word that you will send shipping cost to me.

in turn you get a free bottom end of an engine.

always help out another fg man lol

i will try and find it ok.
