I read a thread on here to get out broken bolts. Today it happened. I broke a pipe bolt on the stock can during testing as they would not tighten I just kept going and one of them snapped the other felt like it stripped and that was that. After regaining rational thinking I remembered someone on here recommended drilling a small hole into the broken shaft and hammering a hex bit into it. Whoever it was thank you! It worked like a charm!

i know the feeling... my left rear axle pin broke of after about 2 min of grass field running, but someone on here had suggested a drill bit end... worked great. i also installed the updated outer axle cups and centered the drive shafts at the same time. my rampage ownership would suck w/o this place. a BIG thanks from me also. :D

ouch!! that could have been a real p.i.t.a. glad you got that one sorted out. wish i could have been there to see the look on your face when it "snapped"
