Thought I read on here somewhere that the front 5ivet springs fit it cause they are shorter than the rear?

The front 5ive t shocks are the same height as the dbxl shocks. You swap the whole assembly. Not just the springs. And you also need the 5ive upper shock mounts/hardware, and a few other bits. I detailed in in my dbxl thread "tear the ole girl down" cant remember how far along in the thread it was. I was under the impression the fox shocks were an upgraded from the 1.0 platform. Could you post a few pics of them? I'd be keen to see them.

Got some running around to do as soon as I get back I will post a picture. Prolly only be the outside for now, I ordered some new shock fluid when I get it and swap it out i will post pics of guts

Standard shock fluid, better design, more available spring rates, parts availability. I jump my dbxl quite a bit handled like crap like flying brick, nose dive pos. The stock 5ive shocks were night and day, then adding 45wt fluid was a just perfect.

Oic makes sense.. I wont have the new springs till sat not sure about fluid. I have to work this next weekend 12hrs each day so I won't be able to swap anything over till next tues????. Hoping to go back to the bmx track that weekend so I need to get the new set up installed
