Hey guy's

So today I was making all the wheels good and straight and when I get my new top end in the mail and get it all put back together I will adjust from there "every wheel was adjusted all over the place"

Anywho. When I first got the Marder there was lots of play, meaning if I grabbed any wheel, the rears would have lots of side to side play, and the fronts would have up and down play.. Well I managed to get all but 3 wheels nice and tight "very minor play but that is normal I take it!"

Ok, I will try to explain the best I can. I am having issues with my right front wheel. I have FG alloy arms on the front accept the lowers are stock plastic. The issue is, if I take my index finger and put it under the wheel hub "those are all alloy as well" I can move the whole wheel hub up and down, meaning it will move up and down in the a-arm and the whole assembly moves up and down, this can't be right obviously and I don't know what is doing it... any thoughts guys?

Generally the alloy parts have teflon inserts like these: http://rc-car-online.de/shop/en/products/fg_1074_01-1074-01-guide-bush-without-collar-4pcs-.html
or these: http://rc-car-online.de/shop/en/pro...4-guide-bushing-for-front-bulkhead-8pcs-.html
or these: http://rc-car-online.de/shop/en/products/fg_1097_01-1097-01-flanged-bushing-6pcs-.html

Do your alloy arms / mounts use them? Are they worn?

The alloy shocks have similar inserts in the rod ends and caps - different dimensions but similar.

Also, are the arms positioned correctly on the hinge pins, or are they moving too freely?
Do they need these: http://rc-car-online.de/shop/en/products/fg_7100-7100-adjusting-clip-for-axle-16pcs-.html

Thank you all for your help thus far.

It appears all the alloy pieces are fine. The movement is up and down movement of the wheel hub assembly in the lower A Arm, comparing the two I don't see anything missing?

The best way I can explain it is taking my index finger and putting it under the wheel hub assembly and pushing it up and it will move up and down in the lower front A-Arm.
everything is tight "blow bolts upper and lower to the a arms?

what your saying is the front lower wishbones are plastic if so it maybe that the one with the movment maybe worn where the bolt goes through into the alloy hub?

Yep that appears to be what the case is. I finally found the proper allen key to remove that bolt. and it appears there is much more up and down play in that ball joint/what ever you call it in the lower A arm then there is on the other side. So what does this mean? I need a whole new A arm?

Ive got a pair of alloy FG front lowers, but the one has a crack in it where the bolt goes into it on the ball joint/tie rod end. I may just go ahead and stick those on "got em with the buggy with some spare parts.
