well i guess this would be my 1st aggrevation on the XB.

i was running the stock receiver battery, that is changing as of today, partly due to low mah rating and mainly due to the single wire out...

i will be making a mod to the receiver box utilizing my receiver pack with dual leads..

it got old Real quick dis-assembling the damn box everytime i want to charge the pack.

with the new pack i will add a female plug to the box, be it an old tamiya or just dremel a small area of the box down to allow the 2nd pig tail to stick out of the box for an easy charge port without removing the 4 screws everytime i need to charge the receiver pack..

i know its a small thing , but these kind of things drive me nuts...

maybe Redcat can address this and add a $ 0.35 external charge port ????

just a small rant ..Lol

Yeah, but that would be one less improvement to do. I enjoy work'n on them as much as driving. :D

I just took my battery cord and stuck it through the hole in the box where the other eires go through, along with the receiver wire and disconnect them each time i am done running it. No modifying needed. Although after i added the kill switch i had to make the slot in the box bigger to accommodate everything.

I just leave a charge lead hang'n out.

I just cut a little slot and run the tamiya charging plug out of the radio box. Simple, easy, effective.

For the receiver packs I use are the little blue metal chargers from Redcat. They work great seem to keep the pack balanced. The KRC 7200 pack lasts forever, so it's not like I have to charge it very often. :)
