Spark plug heat question

For say I have a spark plug heat 7, if I go down to a 6 is that colder or hotter? I think it is I just wanna confirm. This is NGK btw

NGK plugs get hotter as number gets lower and colder as it gets higher. Be warned though. Champion plugs go the opposite way. Lower is colder and higher is hotter. Also be warned that interchange charts are not usualy correct in exact crossovers. So use caution.
