Spark plug tightening

How do you know if you didn't tighten your plug too much to your engine? Stupid question but want to ask anyways

Hand tight and then an extra 1/4 turn. If you have a torque wrench, torque it to 10 ft-lbs. It's a good idea to use anti-seize on the plug threads, as well.

For NGK plugs, and most other plugs;

Brand new: finger tight, then 1/2 turn.

Used: finger tight, then 1/4 turn.

These plugs have crush washers that need to be crushed when there brand new.
