Hey guys my wife may be getting a Baja 5t. It will be coming with a spectrum Dx 3 e radio setup. Is this radio any good? Thanks.

I use the "E" and found it the same as the other models.It's 3 channel so you can add a kill switch if you want.
They are selling them cheap too.

It depends what you want to use it for.
I wouldn't consider it for throttle/brake on a largescale.

For a 1/16 off-road or 1/10 on-road it's fine.
Standards have moved on and people are expecting and finding / using much more powerful servos.

IF you change to another servo - Hitec 7955 or Airtronics 94780 - these have HUGE torque, perhpas 3x what you will have in that one - you need to ensure the Rx can take the power drain from the servos you're using.
If you go to very high-power servos, you're better with a separate power supply, with only the signal wire going into the Rx.
