HI I changed the diff grease and now the baja want to spin out very very easy in turn? Ideas as what to try to fix this ?

I don't see how the diff grease would cause it to handle this differently. Go over the vehicle again, maybe when you removed everything to get to the diff you left something out, sway bar maybe.

I am meaning that the car spins not the wheels. :)

I know that mate,,,,I was just taking the piss.

I'm afraid you will just have to get used to it,or go back to the way it was.

My baja 5b is very very very tail happy, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

You can't do very good powerslides with an open diff,,,,the 5b's are an LSD.

Do you mean you opened the LSD and changed the oil? If so you should put a thicker weight oil so it gets closer to locked. Put like a 100,000 wt.
Rossco is rite, the baja is a very tail happy vehicle, it's just its character. Great buggy though.

you could also play with other parts of your setup... lower the rear ride height or raise the front to get more weight transfer to the rear. maybe the camber is out so cornering there isn't much contact of rubber to ground (turn the wheels and push the rc sideways to simulate the weight of the vehicle when turning. you'll see how much contact patch you have)

I don't like thick grease in difs. to drive a dif needs to work. going around a corner the outside wheel needs to spin faster than the inside wheel. if the dif is locked so to speak, then the wheels will turn the same speed which will cause the arse end to break loose

I'm fairly certain there is aftermarket viscous LSD's for the FG's.
There would have to be since FG has been around a lot longer than HPI 5b's which come standard with one.

Might be a bit pricey though.

LSD's give you the best of both worlds,,,,,cruisy cornering on part throttle & spastic donuts & powerslides on full throttle,,,,,,,,,,depends on the weight of oil used.

My baja 5b NEVER spins one wheel under power,,,,always both,,,,and has a tighter turning circle than most 8th scale nitro's.

Hence the advantage of a Viscous LSD, low speed driveability,,,high speed fangability!!!!!!!!
