has anyone ever tried a spool in there diffs i just had one made and have it installed but the car is not back together yet to test i am running it in the front only and think it will help alot with turning at high speeds so the rear just isnt pushing the front around let me know what ya think

actually the result will be no turning, since which ever turn you make the outer wheel cannot spin at a faster rate than the inner wheel, now it will want to hop around trying to turn. if it's pushing you should adjust your suspension

i have seen many 1/8th scale cars running spools in the front only racing and they turn fine. and you say adj. my suspension like how stiffen the rear up so it doesn't squat so bad that it is taking wieght off the front. we will see how it does once i get everything back together hope you guys arnt right but who know i have only delt with spools in my 1:1 trucks and love them

I have spool in front and rear of some Nitros with Big block engines they Break quit often But Pull like hell and Cyclone like Crazy !! :D

In the Redcats They other drive train parts will not hold up!!!!!! I have already tried in the rear!!! and the front will just cause more Probs Guaranteed !!

If u want more Posi trac I found that using Very Heavy weight Grease In the stock Diffs will make a good Difference Thats what i run and My MT is Nasty :D Wicked Cyclones on asphalt :) But the diff cup shaft is still a weak link !!!!

just wanted to update i broke a shock shaft but feel that was more from jumping it than the spool i can climb up any thing now and it still turns fine and am glad to report almost a full gallon through it since the spool install
