Ok, the pipe Sprint77 custom made for me arrived and all I can say is WOW!

It looks fantastic and all the welds are perfect. I immediately started the

install, of course...

I had to cut a 3/4 inch whole in the rear bumper for the exhaust tip and also

trimmed some of the Desert Rat body right where the posts are. The pipe

weighed in at around 7oz's, very light but quite sturdy.

By the time I was finished installing it the sun was gone so couldn't get any

tuning done. It had been raining all day and the ground was too wet anyway.

I ran the truck for a few minutes and did some donuts in the dirt, could not

help myself...lol

The pipe is definitely louder than my stock can but the sound is very nice.

I love it! I'll be sure to take video tomorrow during the tuning runs.

Here are some pics...the body has dust from the cuts I made, didn't even

have time to clean it before I took the photos....just wanted to post pics

before it got too late...hehe

Hey Sprint77,

I knew from reading other posts that you did excellent work but until you

see it up close it can't be fully appreciated...

I'm happier than a pig in sh#t!

Thanks again Buddy...

Forgot to mention he also sent me an aluminum skidplate for the front bumper.

Thanks for that...it looks pretty damn cool! :D

No problem...Well worth any wait. In the short distance I drove my truck it didn't have

that bog at takeoff anymore. Spun those tires on dry concrete pretty easily...

What did you think of the way it sounded? It's loud but a good kind of loud.. :D

I hope my install job did the pipe justice...

Thanks Fastlane, I tried to make a good looking truck but can also perform well on the dirt.

The only thing holding me back is the roll cage, gotta get a better one but I can't weld

to save my life...lol

Once I save some cash I'll check around to see who can build me one, nothing too wild.

I want it to be simple and mount using the stock holes. Maybe in March I'll get one, for

my birthday... :D

I have a cage that takes no mods for . Still uses factor roof . It is all Tig welded 4130 Chromoly . I was the first one to bring one to the market and got Moo and Catchaser all pumped up to make their own mad max looking designs.

Sending you a PM regarding cage... :)

At $300+ for a full cage......you cant go wrong by making your own...we all know that the Rampage needs a good cage too help hold it all together.

Yeah, the plastic cage is what stops me from doing some longer and higher jumps.

Don't want to land upside down and destroy the engine head plus my brand new shiny

pipe... :D

I actually have Catchasers old cage on my Truggy :D

He did a fantastic job on it, especially considering he was relatively new to fabricating when he made it.

Maybe if I had access to a welder I would attempt making a cage but I like Sprint77's design.

It's stock looking and easy to remove but will give me more protection than the plastic one.

Hope he's got one lying around that he can part with.

I am so green with envy right now.....That pipe looks AWESOME!!!! hats off to Sprint on quality craftsmanship and my compliments to evil for the awesome ride!
