squish clearance reccomendation??

hi guys


iv just got myself a squish clearance dial indicator tool that screws into the spark plug hole to measure gap between top of piston and cylinder dome.


does any one know what the max safe squish clearance you can have or suppose to be in thou " for small two stroke applications ??


wheather this be in standard form or full on race engine spec.
