Hi all


I am looking to install the steel gear set on a rampage mt


is the Redcat Racing 050004 Aluminum -Blue Gear Mount a worthwhile upgrade?


 
i recently installed it and i am very happy with it.


although the area for the bearings was machined not painted as the one above.


gears mesh is better and hopefully it will keep the bearings cooler.
 
The gear plate has machined bearing bores after plating now. It holds the tolerances much better than before.


The gear plate is a great addition. It cools the bearings, but also stiffens the chassis area.
