Steel Spur Gear

Anybody ever find a steel spur gear that will work with XB/XTE? A lot of older threads are not current now

I was thinking I could machine a losi DBXL-E gear to fit as i already have the 7075 motor mount...anybody have any other ideas?

I used a 46t from a dbxle. I had to cut off the part that holds the bearing to the front of the spur gear and cut the notches to the center for the pin in the redcat shaft. I have been using it like that for a couple of years now with no issues.It has really cut down on motor temps. I run a leopard 5692 1050kv and a 14t pinion with a max5 esc on 8s.
